Home Sweet Home

After more than 24 hours of travel we are finally home. We landed in Rifle at 6:30 last night (Friday). That is 8:30 am on Saturday in Guangzhou were we started. We got up at 4:00 am on Friday morning so that was one really long day.

We did get a little sleep on the Hong Kong to San Francisco flight. Meredith slept for about 6 hours in the bassinet the airline provided. Last night wasn't so good for sleeping. We got Meredith to go to sleep about 10:00 but she woke up by midnight. Couldn't really get her back to sleep after that. I was up with her for a few hours and then Margo took over. Margo and Meredith are both taking naps right now. I need to wake Meredith so we can get her on a normal schedule.

It feels great to be home. Now I just need to figure out what to do with a baby at home. I had the hotel routine down. I guess we'll figure it out.

Thanks for all the support and messages while we were in China. It really helps to be able to stay in touch with friends and family.

Hello, travel mates!! Glad you made it home safe. Rich and I really enjoyed getting to know all three of you. We truly will miss you. Baby Jenni is sick with the croup but our doctor thinks she should feel better by Monday. I talked to him on the phone today (it helps that he is a friend also). Hope Meridith is adjusting well. Give her a kiss from us.
